I still can’t believe how many legendary musicians have died this year, including the great Leonard Cohen. He’s always been one of my favorites. And although I’m still sad about his passing, I find some solace in the fact that his music will live forever.
One of Leonard Cohen’s songs that I’ve been listening to again recently is „Hallelujah.“ I thought I knew most of the best versions of this classic song, but I just heard one that is head and shoulders above the rest.
The Italian group Il Divo has sold over 24 million records and has received over 100 gold and platinum albums, but none of that matters while you’re listening to this song.
Since I don’t speak Italian, I honestly don’t understand the words. But despite that, it’s still completely magical. And when when you hear the harmonies at the end of the clip, I’m sure you’re going to need a tissue to dry your eyes.
