Alexa Scimeca & Chris Knierim Perform Sultry Ice Dance To Celine Dion.

Skating duo Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir have been beating back rumors that they’re a couple for years, but real-life lovers Alexa Scimeca and Chris Knierim are proud to talk about their relationship — both on and off the ice.

And perhaps that’s what makes them such a delight to watch. Their love for one another shows with each performance, especially this routine set to Celine Dion’s 1997romantic ballad, “My Heart Will Go On.”

Right off the bat, it’s easy to see how natural their chemistry is on the ice.

And it’s apparently always been that way. The duo started skating together in April 2012, and their romance blossomed quickly thereafter. It was just two years later that they became engaged!

But their sultry looks aren’t all they have going for them. Their incredible precision in their routines won them a spot on the 2018 U.S. Olympic team!

In fact, if you followed the games at all, you know that Alexa and Chris became the first American figure skating pair in Olympic history to pull off a quad twist and helped the U.S. win a bronze medal.

But it hasn’t always been easy for the couple.

In the spring of 2016, Alexa began suffering from what was later diagnosed as a rare gastrointestinal disorder, disrupting the pair’s practice schedule for months.

In November, after losing 20 pounds — much of it muscle — Alexa received an official diagnosis and had to undergo several surgeries.

But she was so determined to return to the ice that the pair resumed their training schedule just weeks after her third and final surgery. Oh, and did we mention she and Chris got married in the midst of all this?

Talk about never-ending devotion to one another!

Their love and respect for one another are on full display in their routine below.

Watch and try not to be just as amazed as we are with these two — and don’t forget to share to spread their beautiful devotion today!
