Google Maps is a very useful tool. You can use it to find just about anything around the world. If you have the app on your phone, you can even get driving directions. But, I bet you didn’t know that you could use google maps to find a stray dog – did you? Patrick Pittenger and Jennifer Velazquez saw a dog when they were using Google Street View.
Patrick started to feed her, but they knew she needed more help than just that, so they called Eldad Hagar, founder of Hope For Paws. Eldad did some research and found out the dog, named Sonya, had been living on the street for at least 10 years! In this video, we will see how Sonya was eventually found and rescued.
She was finally no longer a homeless dog! After being fostered,
Pittenger’s mom adopted her and gave her the loving home she deserved!
