The Members Of Led Zeppelin Are Moved To Tears When They Hear How She Sings One Of Their Classics

In 1971, British rock band Led Zeppelin released a little tune called “Stairway to Heaven.” The song quickly took the world by storm, and has grown to be widely regarded as one of the greatest rock ‘n roll songs of all time.

You’d think that after all of these years, the surviving members of the band—singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page, and bassist John Paul Jones—wouldn’t be phased by it; after all, they’ve performed and heard variations of it too many times to count. But when Ann and Nancy Wilson of the band Heart (huge fans of the band, and aptly dubbed the “female Led Zeppelin”) took the stage at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012, they proved that even after four decades, it can still move Plant, Page, and Jones to tears.
