Parents will do just about anything to pull their kids‘ baby teeth out. The old trick of tying one end a piece of string to the loose tooth and the other end to a door and slamming it is so old school. Today, parents are resorting to a small rocket or a real life-size helicopter to extract a tooth. One dad from Montreal, Canada sought the help of a small critter for this task.
David Freiheit showed up to a local park with dental floss and granola bar in hand. Freiheit fastened the string to his daughter’s tooth, and the other end to a piece of granola. All the duo had to do was wait for a squirrel to take the bait or in this case, tooth.
Much to the surprise of the dad and daughter, it was not just one squirrel who showed up for a treat. It seemed that a whole family was ready to help the little girl out if it meant they got to eat. It was just a matter of who was willing to take the trap for a good cause.
